If you haven’t tried Tigi’s confectionary-inspired range from Bed Head, then you’re missing out. With five delectable ‘Candy Fixation’ products to choose from, each with a different styling effect and its own mouth-watering scent – in typical fashion, Bed Head puts the fun back into hair styling once again.
Whether its volume, texture or a glossy finish that you’re trying to achieve, the Candy Fixations range will have exactly what you need to make your styling experience that little bit more sweeter.
You’ll be shocked at the extreme texture and body this candyfloss-scented ‘Sugar Shock’ mist adds to your hair. Not only does this mist tame unruly, frizzy, second-day hair, it also defines shape and body depending on how you use it. Spray liberally into damp hair to accentuate waves and curls or scrunch into dry hair for a textured, tousled look – with a bit of creativity, the possibilities are endless!
Texturising dusts work wonders for naturally oily hair, combining the oil-absorbing effects of a dry shampoo with the properties of styling products – providing medium hold and volume when applied to the roots. This lightweight ‘Sugar Dust’ from Bed Head has a scrumptious scent of Grape Tarts, and claims to add instant volume to any hair type when sprinkled to the roots – for an enhanced lift, try backcombing the hair slightly for a greater effect.
Take a slice of this zesty, Lemon Meringue Pie scented hair mousse, to prep your hair before styling. When applied to damp hair, this product can be used as a foundation to tame flyaways and enforce humidity resistance before you blow dry and style your hair. Blow dry your hair with your head turned upside down for a dishevelled, volumised look, or alternatively, dry it in sections for a glossier, defined look with added hold.
Treat your hair to this lightweight serum, softening your hair and adding a healthy shine, while minimising frizz. With its non-sticky, non-greasy formula, the serum is also enriched with moisture and proteins to care for and nourish your hair, and interestingly, it speeds up the time it takes to dry your hair – which is great for minimising the amount of heat you apply to your hair. A final added bonus is that the novelty scent of Glaze Haze is Crème Brule – delicious!
Not only does this product look great, this marshmallow-scented and marshmallow-textured texturiser is brilliant for experimenting with shorter hair. Applied to damp hair, this product shapes and defines your style, adding texture if desired – it can also be applied after blow drying for additional hold. Bed Head also recommends mixing Mega Whip with Glaze Haze (at 1 part Mega Whip, 2 parts Glaze Haze) for texture and shine, which is also better for coarser hair.
