12 Danilo Dixon is the hairstylist and best friend to Gwen Stefani. The creator of the iconic styles in Lady Gaga’s Telephone video and Global Ambassador for Pantene, he has had over 30 years’ experience in the hair styling industry.


His hair journey began at Vidal Sassoon where he was invited into the industry by the brands head trainers. He then went on to become more creative, using his talent and imagination at John Dellaria New York. The next step for him was becoming vice-president and artistic director at Oribe, a place he says: “where super hair careers were created alongside supermodels.”
108Since then Danilo Dixon is a familiar face and sought after stylist among the stars, having worked with the likes of Natalie Portman, Katy Perry, Anne Hathaway, Dita Von Teese, Scarlet Johansson, Cate Blanchett and a whole host of other celebrities seeking the Danilo Dixon treatment. When asked who his most memorable clients were he lists working on Mars Attacks!, the Absolut Versace ad by Herb Ritts and creating Rooney Mara’s transformation in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as some of his favourite creative ventures. Fans of America’s Next Top Model would also be interested to know that Danilo Dixon was the hairstylist on seasons three and four of the hit show starring Tyra Banks as head judge.
